Sonafold is run by Zane as an individual. This policy explains what we collect when you visit the website, join the waitlist, order, or email us. There are no accounts or logins, and uploads on the website are coming later.

What we collect

• At checkout: your email, your artist name and your confirmation that you own the rights to the song.
• Payment details: Stripe handles your payment. We never see your full card number.
• What you send us: your song, lyrics and song title.
• Emails: our messages with you.
• Waitlist: your email address, if you join.
• Website statistics: pages visited and similar usage data, as described in the Cookie Policy.

Why we use it

We use this information to complete your order, deliver your files, support you and process refunds. Waitlist emails are used only to tell you when the service opens. We do not sell your information.

Your song and lyrics

We use your song and lyrics only to make your order. We do not train models on them and we do not use them for anything else. We use your order as a public example only if you agree.

How long we keep it

Song files and lyrics	Deleted 90 days after delivery. For a refunded order, within 30 days after the refund.
Delivered files	Kept 90 days so you can download them again, then deleted.
Order and payment records	Kept as tax and accounting rules require.
Waitlist emails	Kept until we send the opening notice, or until you ask us to delete yours.

Deletion and your rights

Email contact@sonafold.com to ask us to delete your song, lyrics, files or waitlist email earlier, or to ask for a copy of what we hold. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to correct, restrict or object to our use of your information, or to complain to a data protection authority. We may need to confirm it is you first. We keep only the records the law requires.

Who helps us

We use other companies for a few jobs and share only what each needs:

• payment processing (Stripe);
• sending and receiving email;
• website hosting;
• website statistics (Google Analytics and a self-hosted, privacy-friendly analytics tool);
• AI generation service providers, which process material from your order (such as your song and lyrics) to produce your visuals.

They may process data in countries other than your own. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

Children

Sonafold is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
