A Spotify Canvas is a short vertical loop that replaces the static cover while your song plays on a phone. It has no sound and it repeats, so it works best as one calm, continuous motion that feels like your cover coming to life.
We build yours from your cover and your song, so the colours, the type of light and the mood match. Every file is checked against the specs below before it reaches you.

What is a Spotify Canvas, and who uploads it?
A Canvas is a short, silent vertical loop that plays behind your track in the Spotify app. It is uploaded by the artist or their team in Spotify for Artists. We deliver the file; you or your team add it to the track there.
How long is a Spotify Canvas, and what size does it need to be?
Spotify’s guidelines say a Canvas is 3 to 8 seconds long, vertical 9:16, 720 to 1080 px tall, as an MP4 or JPG. Ours is a 5-second loop at 720 × 1280 as an MP4, with no text on it.
Can I make a Spotify Canvas myself?
Yes. If you already have footage, you can trim it yourself in Spotify for Artists. We are for people who would rather have a loop made to match their cover than spend the time editing one.
Why is there no text on the Canvas?
Spotify’s guidelines advise leaving out the song and artist name, because they already show in Now Playing, and they do not allow promotional wording, URLs or third-party logos. We keep every Canvas free of text and check it before delivery.
What do I need to send you?
The final mix (WAV or MP3), the song title and your artist name. Cover + Canvas does not need the lyrics. After checkout you reply to our email with the files.
How long does it take, and what if I do not like it?
Within 7 days of receiving your song. You pick one of three watermarked covers first, then we make the rest. You get a full refund any time before delivery, and each file can be redone once for free within 14 days after delivery. See the refund policy and terms for the details.
Do I get more than the Canvas?
Cover + Canvas ($19, $14.9 in early access) includes the cover art with and without the title, as well as the Canvas loop. The Release Kit ($79, $59 in early access) adds a lyric video and three 15-second shorts.
